Anna vastrathi muttaathe
Thannu rakshichu njhangale
Dhanyarakunna nee yonnu -
Thane njhangalkku thampuran.


Aazhiyum thirayum kaattum
Aazhavum pole njhangalum
Maayayum nin mahimayum
Neeyaumennullilaakanam.


Neeyallo shrushtiyum shrashtaa-
Vayathum shrushtijaalavum
Neeyallo daivame, shrushtti-
Kkulla samagriyayathum


Neeyallo maayayum maaya -
Viyum maayavinodanum
Neeyallo mayaye neekki-
Saayoojjyam nalkumaryannum


Nee satyam njhaanamaanandam
Nee thanne varthamaanavum
Bhoothavum bhaaviyum vera-
llothum mozhiyumorkil nee


Akavum puravum thingum
Mahimaavaarnna ninpadam
Pukazhthunnu njangalangu
Bhaghavane, jaikkuka


Jayikkuka mahadeva,
Deenavanaparayana
Jaikukka chithananda
Dayasindo jayikkuka,

    Daivadasakam 100 years.

    Ten Pearls on God
    (NARAYANAGURU: - ‘DAIVADASAKAM’)
    Translation: Dr.K.G.Balakrishnan
    1.
    O, God! Protect us;
    Never leave us;
    You are the Captain
    Of the ocean of
    Unending strife; The
    great steam boat
    Your Solemn Feet!
    2.
    One, more an’ more…
    I touch, compute, tally…
    At the end,
    Like eyes motionless
    Let the mind be non-dual in You!
    3.
    Uninterrupted You shower
    Grain, apparel an’ all for us
    You are the only Master for us.
    4.
    The sea, waves an’ wind,
    The depth-all those are we,
    You, the Delusion, You, the Nobility,
    Always is our core.
    5.
    You, the Creator,
    You, the Creation,
    You, the Created, O, Lord!
    You are The Instrument
    For The Great Act!
    6.
    You are The Jugglery,
    You are The Juggler,
    You are The Nobility
    Which resolves Illusion,
    Pours an’ pours-
    The Ultimate Salvation!
    7.
    You are The Truth,
    The Knowledge, the Ecstasy.
    You, the Present,
    The Past, the Future.
    And no one else
    The Word
    8.
    The noble feet of Yours
    Fill the in an’ the out.
    We praise an’ praise You,
    O God!
    You be The Great Winner,
    And always be.
    9.
    Be victorious The Great Lord!
    Saviour of the poor,
    Master of the ultimate happiness,
    Ocean of Mercy!
    10.
    In the glory of
    The deep deep sea of
    The Nobility of yours,
    We all would immerse.
    Extreme happiness be prevailed,
    Be prevailed
    Every quantum of moment!

    It is a bliss for me that I could translate Daivadasakam to English (Ten Pearls on God) by the grace of Gurudevan
    on 15-07-2012 and the Great Universal Prayer was listed,published,and archived on noted US poetry portal www.poetry.com. Now it is available on www.poemhunter.com with musical accompaniment. I have included the same in my book "THE HUES OF THE HIMALAYA"(English Poems published by AMAZON BOOKS-2013). By love of Gurudevan, the book is read and appreciated now Globally.(The book was printed in US, released formally

    nin padam : the advise given by God himself to Arjuna, which is only Gita

    Pada means word
    Paadam means foot

    Whatever we see inside and outside are the only great knowledge revealed by God in Gita to Arjuna.

    If one is not thorough with Gita, it is difficult to understand Guru's words too. Guru's words are so perfect to feel our great God.
